As the Web Marketing Technologist, Parker documents client web technical issues and recommends solutions. She has a great deal of experience updating content, optimizing websites for SEO, conducting browser compatibility tests and has technical expertise in Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, SiteCore, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML and CSS. When it comes to client CMS migrations, Parker is highly collaborative and focused on delivering the best results for the client.

Prior to joining Social Web Tactics, Parker served as Strayer University’s Web Content Specialist where she developed and maintained the online content for external websites, landing pages and partner microsites. At Strayer, Parker integrated the work of marketing campaign managers and department stakeholders to produce content aligned with corporate standards and copy style-guide standards. She managed the University’s use of Drupal, including setting up new users, providing training & access to training for content owners, as well as reviewing and approving to publish content additions or changes. Parker performed regular reviews of the University’s web properties and ensured content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.

Before Strayer, Parker served as a Web Technologist at Reznick Group where she was responsible for all content and technical duties related to the firm’s public website, and related web-based marketing needs. And before that, Parker spent several years at AOL as a marketing communications manager where she generated demand for AOL’s advertising offerings and improved efficiency for the advertising sales cycle through the development and implementation of strategic business communications.

Personal Background

Talitha Parker loves to dance, and on the weekends you can find her waltzing, foxtrotting and tangoing. She also loves to hike and cheer on her Washington Redskins.
