HOW TO CREATE A STRONG, PERSONAL BRAND

People tend to buy things that they have prior positive experience with or knowledge of. This is not just personal, but also professional. Buyers within companies tend to purchase the products they have past experience with. This is also true of hiring full-time employees or consultants. Hence, the quality of one's personal brand is just as important as a corporate brand.

In this introductory course, we will review what personal branding means, and why it is of value. We also will look at ways people create negative sentiments about their personal brand.

Though an introductory course, we will review student personal brands on social media (or help students establish them), create mission statements and goals for their brand identity, discuss how to maintain one's brand, as well as manage your reputation online.

In this course, we will cover one's personal brand and how that interfaces with other audiences.
